New economic pathways for South Africa’s sustainable economic recovery

South Africa continues to gradually recover from significant economic challenges that have recently plagued the country; it is, therefore, appropriate for SAICA and its members to unite as active participants to support, advocate for, and serve as change agents to contribute to economic development and growth.

SAICA and some of its members, as well as external advisors, are currently developing an economic recovery blueprint for South Africa and this conference has been convened with the aim of raising awareness, collaborating with key stakeholders, and exerting pressure on the government to take appropriate action to strengthen South Africa’s economy.

After the conference, SAICA and its members will be proactive in publishing output from the economic blueprint and conference discussions to create media exposure, in order to create awareness and advocate for proper economic development initiatives to be put in place to grow the South African economy.
