Prof Pieter Van der Zwan

Pieter van der Zwan is a CA(SA) and holds a masters degree in taxation from the University of Pretoria. He is an associate professor at the North-West University where he is responsible for the masters programme in tax. He is the author of various chapters on corporate tax, international tax and tax administration in Silke: South African Income Tax.

Pieter is a member of SAICA’s National Tax Committee and the South African Institute of Tax Professional’s Corporate Structuring and Financing Tax Technical Work Group. He is an accountant member of the Tax Court.

He consults independently on tax and IFRS matters.
