‘I am an industrialist at heart with a professional spirit that has enabled me to become a trusted leader at this age,’ says Hashveer Singh.In 2015 he co-founded Man Up Industries (Pty) Ltd, which has successfully raised grant funding through the Gauteng Innovation Hub. They developed an innovative (PCT registered) product that is challenging multinational companies in an oligopoly shaving industry. The ecosystem of Man Up Industries started to take shape in 2017 when their brand RecodeMan was launched together with their main product The Viper and three exciting supplementary products, RecodeMan Shaving Balm, RecodeMan Shaving Cream, and RecodeMan Beard Oil. They also established marketing and distribution lines which were secured nationwide.In 2017 he was involved in developing finance modules to teach rural school pupils, analysing work projects and generating leads for the Mwanga Youth Development Fund based in the Eastern Cape. It was then decided to formalise the fund and he is currently a non-executive director of the fund. He provides guidance on strategy and risk to actively advance the MYDF.In 2018 Hashveer was appointed as the Africa Ambassador out of 400 worldwide candidates for a multimillion-dollar company based in New York called Appster. He is currently working on establishing a footprint in Africa and building a network.His most recent appointment exemplifies what he feels strongly about. He has been entrusted with the responsibility as head of operations for Enable-E-Africa (Pty) Ltd to contribute to transformation and enterprise development in the mining industry. They are on a mission to enable emerging African businesses to gain access to the mainstream economies and enable them to compete in a sustainable and profitable manner in the areas they operate.He does have a work/life balance and constantly challenges himself in all aspects of his life. He has successfully completed marathons such as the Two Oceans and Nike Soweto Marathon. He is also an avid hiker and has successfully completed the Nepal Langtang Hike. This is all in preparation for his Everest Base Camp hike in 2019.
