People always remember the way they feel, and anchoring this positive narrative amplifies the personal development journey,’ says Paolo.
How did your career lead to being an organisation development consultant? I was always helping friends as a youngster. The development orientation was fundamentally me. Three months into my training contract I was told to lead some technical training, and it all began. In 20 years since qualifying, I have always worked in learning and development, HR and the organisation development spaces. In starting my consultancy, I reflected on my experiences and passions.
This led to two things: the yearning to consolidate my knowledge and experience in the fundamentals of applied behavioural sciences and to bundle my commercial business experience with formal academic and experiential studies. My consultancy offering is aligned. My immersion in these fields was congruent with the definition of an organisation development consultant and I work at the edge of my CA(SA) and people dynamics.
