Editorial
As I pen down my final editorial for Accountancy SA after 12 years, I am filled with a mix of emotions. It’s a time of reflection, gratitude, and anticipation for the new adventures that lie ahead.
Over the years, Accountancy SA has been more than just a publication; it has been a platform for sharing knowledge, inspiring change, and fostering a community of professionals committed to excellence in the field of accountancy. As editor, I have had the privilege of witnessing the growth and evolution of this community, and I am immensely proud of what we have achieved together.
I am grateful for the opportunity to have served as editor, a role that has allowed me to connect with so many talented individuals and share their insights and stories with our readers. Your contributions have been the lifeblood of this publication, and I thank you for your dedication and passion for advancing our profession.
As I move on to the next chapter of my journey, I am excited to share that Accountancy SA is also embarking on a new phase. In the second half of 2024, we will be relaunching the publication with a fresh look and an elevated content strategy. This relaunch is a testament to our commitment to continuous improvement and our desire to provide even more value to our readers. I am confident that the new Accountancy SA will inspire, inform, and engage our community in even more meaningful ways.
To all our readers, contributors, and the SAICA team, thank you for your support, trust, and collaboration. It has been an honour to be part of this incredible journey. I may be stepping down, but I will always remain a proud member of this community and an eager supporter of Accountancy SA’s bright future.
Wishing you all continued success and growth.
