Woolworths has recently admitted that its baby carrier is ‘strikingly similar’ to Shannon McLaughlin’s Ubuntu Baba carrier and has stopped selling these baby carriers. This was the third incident involving alleged intellectual property theft by Woolworths from SMEs in the last few years.
