“Move past your fears and unlock your own limiting beliefs.”
Daily I see how fears dominate and cloud people of their dreams, eventually robbing them like a thief in the night.
Are you one of these people?
You were programmed to identify essential fears to protect you from dangers you feel. For sure fears not be overlooked, ignored or avoided. Most important fears that are suppose to bring crucial information to the forefront.
But what if, instead of your usual immediate reaction to danger, you decide to embrace and overcome it? What could a reaction like that mean to your life, business, relationships etc.? You want to be great – having made a difference and contributed to life and others whilst on earth. This decision for greatness is a choice. But fear stops you from doing great things though. What if Nelson Mandela or Richard Branson fed their fears? Imagine the world without their contributions? Now, what is this world losing out on, by you bowing before your fears? More important even – what are you losing out on because of your avoidance strategy? The fear of failure, success even, rejection, pain or the unknown holds you back from experiencing and deepening the quality of your life. Move past your fears and unlock your own limiting beliefs.
Have you ever faced a fear head-on? Maybe skydived because you have a fear of heights? Maybe committed to a speaking engagement although you are terrified of public speaking? Maybe touched a snake or spider because you just had to, to master the bugger?
What is that fear and when are you going to face it? Challenge yourself and face it. Then conquer it. And next time you will have the confidence to do the same. Shoot for the moon So you’ve embraced and committed to face your fears. Will you now go for the moon like you always wanted? Envision challenging the status quo with a healthy disregard for the impossible, whilst maintaining a level of practicality? Fear stands between today and your dreams. Who is going to win – you and your dreams or fear? Surround yourself with resources and people that inspire and have achieved solutions to seemingly overwhelming problems.
In order to do something you’ve never done, you’ve got to become someone you’ve never been. Anything in life and business is possible. Just don’t settle. Keep on experimenting, developing, growing, pushing and challenging yourself. Why not shoot for the moon? Because even if you miss, you’ll at least land further than you are today.
The Dalai Lama said: “The more you are motivated by love, the more fearless and free your action will be.” Please love life that much! And more. You will be free to do the impossible. ❐
