TURN YOUR ‘SHOULDS’ INTO ‘MUSTS’.
We have had a year full of surprises, highs and lows. A year where we once again appreciated our health, the time spent with loved ones and a support system to carry us through the lows.
We are ending the year with a highlight by introducing you to our Top 35-under-35 competition winners. Each finalist has a tremendous story of how they not only achieve success but, more importantly, how they make an impact on society and change lives. In this issue, each of them had an opportunity to submit an article, and we’re sure you will enjoy reading it.
These exceptional group of youngsters all have the ability to make the ordinary extraordinary – and that is what sets them apart.
It reminds me of a talk by Tony Robbins, Turn your ‘shoulds’ into ‘musts’. We know that extraordinary lives don’t just happen. Success is when there’s a powerful commitment to take your life from ordinary to extraordinary.
We also have some great stories of our exceptional members:
- Zimkita Mabindla tells her story of overcoming challenges and how she chose to not separate her personal challenges from her professional life.
- Ilze Wiid shares how she overcame stuttering and other health challenges. When she was faced with the possibility of death, her outlook and perspective on life changed.
- Graham Leslie left the city life to focus on his family farm and has since helped it to grow from strength to strength, achieving major awards and recognition within the industry.
We wish all our members and associates a blessed festive season and we look forward to spending time with you in 2022.
